Gator Creek Estates is an equestrian as well as a golf course community that encompasses over 500 acres located off of Bee Ridge Extension about 3 miles East of I-75. The neighborhood of Gator Creek features 69 custom built homes on 5 to 10 acre parcells of land. Many of the homes are fenced and have barns with horses. Gator Creek Golf Club is a private country club with an 18 hole, par 72 course designed by legendary golf architect Joe Lee and was renovated by Ron Garl in 2011. Membership is limited to 250 members and is limited to men only. Women are not allowed on the grounds to play or even work.
